Polishing of non-ferrous metals and aluminum is best done with felt circles made of soft felt. Felt wheels work better at low speeds. Recommended speeds are 5-10 m / s. Excessive speed makes the surface seem harder, and at the same time under the action of increased centrifugal force, the polishing composition breaks off from the felt circle and is wasted. It is recommended to use felt circles together with polishing pastes.
