Flap disc CERAMIC series

Circles with grain from ceramics provide more aggressive removal of metal and high speed of work in comparison with other types of abrasives, and also maintains intensive loadings. During operation, the grain splits and thus sharpens the cutting edges, ensuring uniform performance throughout the service life.

There are several types of flap discs: straight profile for flat grinding and finishing of surfaces and curved (conical) - for processing of hard to reach places, angular and flat grinding, for processing of bends and corners as well as flat and contoured surfaces.

Flap discs are available in diameters 115 mm,125 mm, 180 mm and are made of abrasive cloth on cotton backing of electro corundum (red-brown) and zirconium electro corundum (blue) grit: from P36 to Р120. Thanks to fan-shaped, radial placement of the flaps, flap discs have the highest performance and flexibility in grinding. Exactly matched the flap cloth wears evenly during operation and does not overshadow the underlying layer of material. This prevents glazing of the disc and gives it the opportunity to work to the full the full depreciation, decreasing the costs for the operation of grinding.
